26th LD

Defending Our Majorities

This is a true swing district: in 2018, our union helped elect Sen. Emily Randall by just 104 votes.

This year, an extreme anti-union Republican (who was stripped of staff for his abusive behavior) is running to replace Sen. Randall, who is a critical vote for our priorities in the Senate.

Why We Care

Defending our progress on Safe Staffing — losing Sen. Randall in the Senate could stall progress on our fight for Safe Staffing.

Standing up for our values – losing Sen. Randall means an abusive, toxic employer will represent us in the 26th. No boss who abuses workers deserves a promotion.

Supporting the first Latina LGBTQ Senator — part of our Racial Justice work is using our power to make Legislature represents all of us.

Endorsed 2018 & 2022!

Sen. Emily Randall

Bio

It’s an honor to serve the 26th District as your State Senator. From day one, I have worked to put the people of our community first and find solutions to some of our biggest challenges.

I believe in working together — across partisan and geographic divides — to find common ground and to get results. That’s why some of my proudest accomplishments as State Senator include lowering healthcare costs, lowering the Tacoma Narrows Bridge tolls, and investing in safe and healthy communities.

Our Community Has Given So Much To Me And My Family — I Am Committed To Giving Back And Continuing My Work To Ensure Everyone Can Thrive.

Every day I’m putting the people of the 26th district first.

As State Senator, I’ve worked to fulfill my promise to put people in the 26th district first. From investing in our local economy, to funding high quality education, and expanding access to  affordable healthcare — we’ve made a lot of progress.

But I know there is more left to do. My top priority is hearing directly from neighbors like you, right here in our district. I want to know what you love about our community and how you think we could do better — your struggles and your hopes. In the coming weeks and months I will be visiting every area of the 26th — from Kitsap Lake to Lakebay, Fox Island to Fragaria, Warren Avenue to Wollochet Drive.
