Issaquah Mayor:

Lindsay Walsh

Bio

“As Council President I have been a tireless champion for our community with a focus on affordable housing, public safety and transit options.

Our next Mayor should be someone with the hands-on experience and local solutions needed to continue Issaquah’s progress. I believe I am the candidate with the proven and trusted record to get results for our city.”

Lindsey Walsh is our Issaquah City Council President, a 20-year small business owner, and mom of 2 teens.

A dedicated public servant with a proven track record, Lindsey has extensive local expertise and is focused on ensuring a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable future for all residents.

A longtime neighbor, Lindsey and her husband, Jeromy, moved their family to Issaquah 15 years ago, looking for a place to raise their kids and call home. They chose Issaquah for the beautiful hillsides, safe neighborhoods, good schools, and diverse community, and are grateful that their 2 high schoolers have been able to grow up in such a beautiful and welcoming community.

Having experienced firsthand the challenges and opportunities our city faces, Lindsey was motivated to join Issaquah’s Planning Policy Commission in 2017. After two years, she was appointed to the Council in 2019 and has served as Council President since 2022. In addition to her Council leadership, she serves on the boards of Eastside Fire & Rescue and the King County Affordable Housing Committee. Lindsey’s work on the Puget Sound Regional Council’s Growth Management Policy Board has positioned Issaquah as a key voice in regional planning and development.

When not working to ensure Issaquah remains a vibrant, livable community where families can flourish, businesses can thrive, and our natural beauty is preserved for future generations, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and mentoring students at Gibson Ek High School.
