Heather Koellen a nurse in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at Harborview Medical Center and on the King County Board of Health. In addition to being a Charge and Staff nurse in a level one trauma center and teaching institution, Heather is the former chair of a Unit Practice Council as well as a former member of the Nursing Practice Council. These councils are made up of nurses elected by peer staff and make policy decisions unit and hospital wide.
Heather is a current North Bend City Councilmember and a former North Bend City Planning Commissioner. She serves as an alternate to the Board Chair on Eastside Fire and Rescue. Heather is also a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. She lives in North Bend, Washington.
